Zwartkop is a family business.
Otway Hayes was Zwartkop’'s first golf professional; a position he held for 56 years, from 1940 to 1996. His son, Brian, joined him in 1969 and although he's now semi-retired, he's still a Director and involved in Special Projects. Younger brother Dale bought the business in 2001 and has been intimately involved in all aspects of running the Club since then.
Brian and Dale’'s son’s Ian and Adam, are members of the PGA of South Africa and are responsible for the golf shop, corporate memberships and corporate golf days.
The staff at Zwartkop is considered family, which would explain why the Hayes family calls Zwartkop, home.

THE PLACE
Golf Course
We trust you will have an enjoyable round of golf on our 18-hole championship course which meanders between mature trees and has abundant birdlife and gardens. The course also has the added challenge of the Hennops River, which comes into play on 9 of the holes.
The Golf Shop
Come in and sample the services of our 9 PGA Professionals. We cater for all your golf equipment needs with professional advice & low prices. We have a fully stocked golf shop with a large variety of golf clothing, golf shoes, golf bags and golf equipment on offer at very competitive prices plus we offer golf club hire. We also have a driving range with the Zwartkop Clubfitting Centre which uses the Flightscope technology.
Our Facilities
Zwartkop is Pretoria's most beautiful golf course, with tree-lined fairways and the Hennops River gently meandering through it. Although golf is our game, we also have a Hair Salon, Spa, Gym, two Bowling greens, a Snooker facility and function room facilities for weddings and conferences. We are constantly upgrading the course and clubhouse to ensure enjoyment for the members.
