Flipbooks vs Single Page
Presentation

Double page Flipbooks have next/prev buttons above and below the images.

Adding a Flipbook is easy and fast to do. Summary: First, you need to convert Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel or other documents into images. Then you load the images to categories where each flipbook is a defined category.
Detail: All flipbook pages are loaded as images. Page images can be created from Microsoft Word Documents by export- ing the pages as images. the same can be done with Powerpoint images. Power- point and Word pages can be setup in Portrait or in Land- scape view. the default is a portrait view for word docu- ments and a landscape view for powerpoint documents.
The flipbook formats are well suited to presenting large spreadsheets as you can dis- play the spreadsheets across two visible pages. Microsoft excel Spreadsheets can be exported in PDF format. PDF pages can be converted to images with Adobe Acrobat. If you have graphs or spread- sheets that you want to present as a flipbook but you do not have Adobe Acrobat you can convert them to images in a variety of ways, including:
1. there are many free con- version services that you will find on the internet that will convert your PDF documents to .jpg files. Conversion Services include:
• pdf2jpg.net
• Zamzar.com
• PDFBurger
• SmallPDF
2. You can also open the spreadsheet on a PC and print the screen, crop it to the aspect ratio 1 to 1.4.
3. You can copy graphs and selected spreadsheet cell ranges and pste to word as a picture. Select the picture and save as a picture or you can ex- port the word page as a image.
Flipbooks present pages in a lookalike book format. the pages are fixed in size. Portrait images in the aspect ratio of 700 wide x 980 high will not distort. For Land- scape images 980 x 700 is best.
Flipbooks present most content pages well on PCs, Laptops and iPads/tablets. Landscape Flipbooks pre- senting large images in a picture book design also work well.
The features of flipbooks relate to the ease of flipping through the pages. One needs to take into account that two pages are present- ed and this suits screens in landscape view. text on phone screens may be small. to assist in reading small text a magnifier can be activated.

A Flipbook in Portrait Format

Single versus double page presentations.
There are no limits to the number of pages added. You will be referred to options in the site builder's admin panel, see the blue text hpperlinks. If you are logged in to a site, selecting a hyperlink will take you, from this page, to the option in the Admin Panel on your site. All pages in the Admin Panel have a How to Tips panel at the foot of the page which will provide further information on building that page.
Double Page Presentation
Flipbooks are hosted on your website and they can be hyperlinked to Communicators, e-Mail, etc. Flipbooks are ideal for presenting picture and text eBbooks. Where the content is mostly text a larger text font size of 14 points or higher is recommended for phone audiences. Fipbooks present two pages side by side in a book format. Flipbook pages are arranged in categories with all pages in a book being added to category. First create a book category and then add pages. You will find the following options in the Website Builder Admin Panel Flipbooks: Create Categories  and Flipbooks: Add Website Pages
Single Page Presentation
Typically word and powerpoint presentations are viewed one page at a time. For single page presentation you could add the content to  Pages: Create Linked Webpages in the COMMUNICATOR Admin Panel.  This will offer a single page, 900 pixels wide, that can be set with the website or store menu bar so as to allow users to return to the website or store after reviewing the page accessed from a hyperlink. Also, it can be an independent webpage. There are a few presentation options including:
1. Copying and pasting page content from source documents. Content from multiple pages can be copied to one page. These pages will be viewed by scrolling down. Thus, instead of presenting, say 7 pages, you would present one page for users to scroll through.
2. Exporting word, powerpoint, pages and keynote pages to .jpg images and adding these images one below the other.
3. Adding page images to a page alternator -  See  Images: Alternator & Link Generator  in the Pages: Specialist Pages & Albums Admin Panel. Alternators can be setup to host images at desired page width and height sizes.  These pages have previous and next arrows on the bottom left and right hand sides that are used to display the next ot previous pages. The process is simple:
  1.  Set the desired page width and height.
  2. Select the Add Image option and add a hyperlink url if required ( users that click on the image will go to the hyperlinked webpage destination).
  3. Browse and select the image.
  4. Set the page status to active or inactive.
  5. Add the desired number of pages.
  6. On the Manage Image Alternator page select the option to generate the page code and copy the code.
  7. On a Linked Webpage (or any other webpage) select the Source option on the top left hand side of the CKEditor and paste the code into the page and then click the Source button again to display the page altenator. Save the page.
4.Adding page images to a page rotator - See Images: Rotator Generator & Link  in the Pages: Specialist Pages & Albums Admin Panel. Using this option will create
