Events

Wendon Academy places strong emphasis on the importance of introducing fun filled events and experiences. By exposing our learners to varying activities, cultural and individual experiences, it will enhance personal growth. This will allow our children to acquire knowledge and above all, realize fun and laughter is part of the joy when learning at school.Giving back to the community.Galas and athletic days are always met with enthusiasm. Despite no interschool sporting participation, each child is included into the school team to build on confidence and therefore a feeling of belonging.

Outings & Fundays

Our children need to overcome gross motor difficulties. How better than to introduce outings of rock climbing, abseiling, river rafting with leadership opportunities to add to team and friendship building. “School can be fun”. Funky hair days, bring and braai, civies days, mini-olympics, valentine’s Day, Banquets, night school, fashion shows and more… These are days to build fun memories for many years to come.
