Footloose Trout Farm is situated in a tranquil setting of 10 hectare with spectacular views over our city. It is the ideal venue for any fisherman, whether for fly fishing or conventional fishing. The estate offers 13 beautiful dams, well stocked with Trout, Bass, Barbel and Carp. All Trout caught have to be taken and paid for at R96-00 p/kg. There is NO ‘Catch and Release’ of Trout unless you are a paid-up Fly Fishing Club member. Bass, Carp, Barbel and Kurper may be caught and released as long as the fish are not damaged. There is a fully equipped abattoir facility with staff on hand to gut, clean & vacuum pack your catch.
The Entrance fee for adults is R60.00 and for children R45.00 whilst kiddies under the age of three go in for Free. Conventional bait rods may be hired at R40-00 (includes a ball of bait).
