Emphasis on timing and quality has enabled Bergen's Appliance Repairs & Spares to set itself apart in an industry that often has customers pulling their hair out in frustration. The franchise was created in 2002; the company was started with the express purpose of bridging the gap between the service expected and the service delivered in the industry. "People are used to the so-called bakkie operators. I realized that there was a need for a brand other than what was available in the market at that stage". Says Adriaan van Bergen, franchisor of Bergen's.
Van Bergen says that, contrary to popular belief, stores in the higher income areas do extremely well. With some top-of-the-range appliances costing upwards of R10 000, not even the most affluent people can afford replacing these machines every time something goes wrong.

Bergen's Appliance Repairs will collect your faulty white appliance, evaluate it and give you a quote. I the quote is not accepted the unit will be returned free of charge (this applies to all work done within a 10 km radius of the franchise branch).
MAINTENANCE PLAN
The Bergen's Maintenance Plan was launched in October 2012 after years of development and contemplation. Since the inception of Bergen's Appliance Repairs % Spares in 2002 our customers have been asking us for this service. For a monthly fee of R129.00 inclusive of VAT, the Bergen's Maintenance Plan will maintain your 5 selected appliances. There is an additional R25 per applaince thereafter.
SOLAR
Bergen's Solar was established in 2012 and is associated to Sun Power Technology cc, who are the importers and sole agents in South Africa for the ISOLL Solar brand. The product is SABS approved and Sun Power Technology is an accredited Eskom rebates installer.
The ISOLL product carries a 10 year guarentee and is a 5th generation vacuum tube technology product.
