As from: 03/30/2011 for a PPL Licence you need a: Initial requirements for the licence are 45 hrs flying
To convert to a PPL from a LSA ( subpart 16)30 hrs credit min 10 hrs dual instr which must incl: 5 hrs instrument instr min 5 hrs solo which must incl: Triangular CC of at least 150nm, one point not closer than 50nm from base, incl 2 full stop landings at two diff aerodromes, of which 1 must have an ATSU and for which a fligt plan shall be submitted PPL Exams PPL Skills test

LSA AIRCRAFT - Above: KR 030 Topaz Below: JK 05 Junior 
To obtain an LSA the initial requirements are: 35 hrs flying min 15 hrs solo 1 dual & 1 solo flight into controlled airport 2 X countries Dual & Solo 90 min Nav test 90 min + 1 away full stop Exams LSA
Skills test by a Grade A or B instructor, Valid Medical, Radio telephony licence ,Relevant Exams Online
To convert to a LSA from a CCM ( Part 4) 20 hrs credit min 5 hrs solo 1 dual & 1 solo flight into controlled airport 2 X countries Dual & Solo 90 min Nav test 90 min + 1 away full stop Exams LSA Skills test by a Grade A or B instructor
To convert to a LSA from a WCM (Subpart 5)Up to a max of 15 hrs credit Min 10 hrs solo 1 dual flight into controlled airport 1 solo flight into controlled airport Exams Engines & Airframes LSA Principals of Flight LSA Skills test with Grade A or B instructor
To convert to an LSA from a GYR ( Subpart 6) Up to a max of 10 hrs credit Min 15 hrs solo 1 dual flight into controlled airport 1 solo flight into controlled airport Exams Engines & Airframes LSA Principals of Flight LSA Skills test with Grade A or B instuctor
