House Rules
 
We hope that you enjoy The Loft's amenities and request that you take note of the following house rules.
  • Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours at all times.
  • Your and our security and ours  is of utmost importance and thus we require adherence to our check-in procedures for guests and for your preapproved visitors who need to provide identification upon checkin / registration.
  • No parties or events are permitted. Registered guests only are allowed to stay overnight. The Estate values its privacy, and day visitors must be entered in the "Guest Register" and be preapproved.
  • No pets are allowed, and no smoking indoors is permitted.
  • An electronic mosquito/bug deterrent appliance is available that must be disconnected when you are not in residence.
  • The lights, electronic appliances, TV and fans must not be left on when you are not in residence.
  • The trash will be cleared when the room is serviced. Excess trash should be placed in the bins behind the adjacent flat.
  • The Loft is cleaned and serviced (beds made, kitchen washup and room / bathroom are cleaned by housekeeping staffclean in the mornings daily .
  • Washing must be hung to dry on the lines in the garden below and not on the stair railing.

Please fill in the Check-In/Out Form on the desk and ensure that if you damage something, let us know so that we can arrange for its repair or replacement and please do offer any suggestions to improve a stay with us?
 
Bookings / Check In / Check Out

Your privacy and that of others on the estate is important and your identification information is managed by us or by our Booking Agent in terms of our Privacy Policy, available HERE.
 
Bookings and Identity Verification
At a minimum, you will be asked for your:
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Confirmed phone number
  • Payment information
Please note that your identity verification is part of the booking process conducted by the booking agency. You will be asked to provide:
  • Legal name, address and/or other personal information: In some cases, these are sufficient for us to verify your identity.
  • Photo of your government ID: This could be a driver's license, passport, identity card or visa. 
  • Selfie: We may need to ask you for a photograph in case we cannot verify your Government ID. If you can't provide a selfie that matches your Government ID.
Check-In 
When checking in, you will be asked to complete a check-in form and sign acknowledging our House Rules, and you will be asked for your Government ID.

Check-Out
We will request you to complete a check-out form and note any matters that:
  • Require our attention.
  • An acknowledgement that you have removed all your belongings and that any consumables or other items left behind are to be disposed of as trash.
