| Step 7: Upload the required supporting documents There is an Application Fee and a Licensing Fee which will be invoiced separately The best is to make two separate payments via credit card as this will not require approval before the process continues. If you pay by EFT or direct deposit your payment will have to be cleared by the ICASA Finance Department and you will need confirmation from them which may take time to receive.
|
Step 8: Manage your application by responding to e-mails that you may receive and you can LOG IN and select the option to MANAGE page when you are logged in. | Step 8: ICASA advise that the application process should take about 10 to 15 days however you can expect delays if the steps as outlined are not followed correctly. The COVID Pandemic has caused delays beyond the normal processing time and the CAA will accept your proof of payment to ICASA in lieu of the actual license. Should you be planning a cross border flight then you will need an issued license as the proof of payment will not be accepted.
