About Loyalty Marketing

WARNING
WEBO OFFER A WEALTH OF POSSIBILITY RELATED TO LOYALTY MARKETING MANY PREFER TO HAVE LOYALTY CAMPAIGNS BUILT FOR YOU
Consequently, the detail offered below may best be presented by our Marketplace Marketer and to this end, you need not read on should you prefer to set up an appointment with Sam Foxon.

Executive Summary:
We recommend that sellers join the JHB Northern Hood Loyalty programme. This requires that Sellers allocate a percentage of sales towards a loyalty reward. The loyalty reward fund is held by a bank and the fund is used to fund the consolidation of points so that buyers can use the loyalty rewards accumulated from purchases on the Marketplace at any selected participating sellers site. Prepaid voucher sales and online Product and or Service sales will award buyers loyalty points to the value of the allocation by a seller.

General
  • Products are searchable by classification and subclassification, by name and by search term on the Webo Directory which gets millions of hits per month. This means that Loyalty Rewards are available to a broad audience of potential buyers.
  • The Marketplace may offer products as classified unpriced products, fixed-price products, or items up for auction. Loyalty Rewards can thus include, as an example, access to a "Members Only" clearance sale that is an online auction. It could also grant access to a "secret menu" in a restaurant that enjoys preferential pricing.
  • Loyalty Status Benefits can be gifted by customers, with a status, to a friend.
  • All items may be specified as being items on special or as a deal which can be a restricted loyalty reward, eg given a Gold, Silver and Platinum Loyalty Status deals and Specials can be restricted to Members with a defined status.
  • The Marketplace Store will manage the offline distribution and in-store stockholding of physical products that are offered as Loyalty Rewards. It also manages the online distribution of digital products.

Coupons Rewards

There are a variety of options open to Sellers seeking to excite with Coupon Rewards.

Q1. Does this coupon require payment to be redeemed?   O Yes   O No
Q2. Can this coupon be purchased as a stand-alone buy?  O Yes  O No
Q3. Is this a Buy-One-Get-One-Free coupon?                   0 Yes  O No
  • If  Q1. is Yes then Q2. cannot be Yes and this coupon will be redeemed upon clearance of the payment.
  • If Q2. is Yes there will be no coupon redemption with this purchase.
  • If Q3. is Yes then upon payment clearance two separate coupons will be added to the Buyer's Account.
Thus, if set to Yes then when a customer tries to buy it, the system will check if the coupon is available in the buyer's account. If Yes & if the coupon is available then when payment is cleared for this coupon the coupon will be redeemed in the buyer's account. If Yes, and If this coupon is not available in the Buyers Account, a Pop-Up message will read:  “Please GET this coupon before making payment.”   Scroll Down to read about the activation of the D&RC (Deals & Referrals Communicator) option.
  • A different price can be set for a product or coupon that will only apply between the dates set above (but excluding any exclusion dates). Coupons can be created above with or without the requirement for a part-payment for redemption. This option would be used for a loyalty promotion or for a store SALE between set dates.
  • When a coupon deal requires part-payment then the coupon will be redeemed when payment is cleared.
  • To structure a BUY-ONE-GET-ONE-FREE deal then a coupon must be required to purchase the above coupon. In this case, the coupon in the Buyer's/Customer's Account will not be redeemed when this coupon is purchased.  After purchasing it the buyer will have two separate coupons in his/her account.
  • To structure a two for one deal the coupon or product above must be created for two ie it is one purchase for 2 or more items.

Points

  • Points can be used to segregate customers into categories that relate to those that buy more and more often.
    • In this case, customers are awarded points for purchases, and categories/status are defined by the number of points held.
    • Coupon rewards can be offered to customers on the basis of their status combined with a milestone hurdle, if so decided. eg a Gold status may require 1,000 points but purchase or coupon may be set to be only available to Gold Status holders if they have, say, 1,500 points ie the coupon or product would only be available to Gold Status holders who have gone on to reach the 1,500 points milestone. see below.
  • Points can be defined to have a monetary value and if this is the case then they can be redeemed in full or part payment for a product or coupon.
  • As stated above points can also be used to qualify customers for milestone rewards. In this case, when a defined number of points is reached then the milestone reward can be acquired by the customer.
  • To set up a milestone reward enter a qualifying number of points above - see the option:  "Minimum loyalty points required to Get this coupon"

Adding products:
  • The option to specify a starting date and a closing date may be applicable to specials that are available for a defined period only. It may also be applicable to say, seasonal products that are not available out of season. Outside the date range the product will not be available in the store.
Adding digital products:

  • Selecting one or more of the options at the line:
    • Auto delivery for Payment Options will upon conclusion of the checkout process immediately e-mail the purchaser a download link to obtain the digital product purchased.
    • You do not need to select an option and if you do not then the manual release of the download link (see below) will apply.

  • Payment by other means not selected will require the manual release of the download link to the purchaser. See the option: Store Mgt: View Orders Received in the Sellers Admin Panel.
  • Loading a digital product will make it available via the checkout process. Only one file can be sold at a time. For further product sales, additional sales items must be added.
  • When the seller specifies Gift Vouchers as a means of payment in the option:  Setup: Payment Options in the Admin Panel, the purchaser will be requested to provide a voucher number. Gift voucher numbers can be added by selecting the option  Add another voucher no for each voucher to be loaded.
  • Unused gift vouchers can be reviewed by selecting the Click Here link above. See below for a list of used and unused voucher numbers:

Coupons & Vouchers
Coupons and vouchers are either redeemed online on a phone or they are redeemed by way of a coupon or voucher downloaded from the BUYER'S ACCOUNT.
There is however an option for the Seller to set up a voucher or coupon that is e-mailed to the buyer. This may apply where a book of instructions with prepaid tickets are required for a special event that is booked by phoning the seller, etc.  In these cases, the normal redemption process is not followed. A digital file (document, eBook, etc.)  is loaded above and it will be e-mailed to the buyer.

The following Coupon and Voucher settings can be uploaded together with other information on the Bulk Product Upload Spreadsheet. See the Variations Section above.  Note that if a product has variations and subvariations then only the main product will be listed on the LPM Communicator. eg If the Product is T-shirts and there are 6 colours and 6 sizes then only one product T-shiorts will be listed on the LPM Communicator. When a user selects the read more link for this product then the variation/sub-variation (size and colour) will be selected in the store.

Coupon and Voucher Management is a specialist Module that is only available if activated by Webo Admin. It is a standard inclusion in the Webo SaaS Bundle.
Where coupons, vouchers or tickets are created in the LPM aka L&R Communicator section of the Admin Panel then making a V & C Template Selection will activate the GET IT options, see below.

Store items can be displayed as coupons, vouchers or tickets. They can be set up to be links to secret menus etc. They can also be set up as listed items that link back to the item in the store. The product Option Selection relates to the sequenced categories that are set up in the L&R Communicator section of the Admin Panel. When a Product Option Selection is made then this item is displayed in the L&R Communicator App. When a selection is not made this item will display in the store but not in the L&R Communicator App.  The image below shows the item in the L&R Communicator App without the V&C Template selection having been made.

The Title Line: 50% Off.... Is the Product Name set at the top of this page, The Product Number does not display.  The text: This Ambassador... is set by adding a note in the Coupons & Vouchers Panel above (if activated). This note does not display in the store.

Loyalty & Referral Marketing

Notes:

Loyalty Programme Status
  • Status Levels
    Subject to a max of……
    • Coupon Marketing to The Public:  These coupons fall within programmes designed to attract new audiences. Registered Users with zero Fan Points will be able to select these coupons.
    • Loyalty Marketing to Fans in 3 levels: Fan Level 1, Fan Level 2, and Fan Level 3; These coupons are designed to reward users for patronage; buying more and more often. Where the store is used as a professional services showcase then these levels will likely relate to client segments eg corporate, private, or public sector clients. Where the store showcases retail products or services the Fan levels will segment customers on the basis of purchases volumes and values.
    • The structuring of the Loyalty Programme Levels is done here: Setup L&R Communicator
    • Most Loyalty Programme Levels are based upon the number of points that a customer accumulates. In professional firms and in other cases where customers are not likely to be regular repeat customers the segmentation may be manually set up to segment clients in a legal firm, for instance, into the categories; Public, Private, and NGO.
    • Referral Marketing to Users at 3 levels; Advocates share suggestions, recommendations, and opinions on social media. Advisors write reviews and Ambassadors send one-on-one recommendations by email with a coupon that is gifted to the recipient.
    • Coupons may be made available to one or more "Customer Reward" levels by selecting the "Tick Boxes" in the left-hand column. In the image above the coupon is ticked in the left-hand column for  Ambassadors. If ticked for Ambassadors it should not be ticked for other levels. If not ticked for Ambassadors in the left-hand column then the item can be obtained by those that have been ticked.
    • If set to eg 100 then the total number of coupons that can be issued to anybody is 100 but see the eg in the image above the 100 in Fan Level 1 needs to also be activated by a tick in the left-hand column. As this is shown as an Ambassador coupon this should not be ticked in the left-hand column.
    • The registered user limit is the max that any single username can get.
    • In counting the number for a user any two-way coupons issued will count as one coupon for that user in the Registered user limit …..(it will count for two coupons in the Total Issued column).
  • Coupon Issues:
    • All coupons are issued one at a time ( you cannot order more than one at one time) and the coupon is entered in MY ACCOUNT for each Registered User that selects one.
    • Except if the coupon is an Ambassador reward coupon then when one is selected in the App then two coupons are counted in the total but only one is entered in MY ACCOUNT. One will be entered for the sender and another one will be entered for the receiver.
    • To GET an Ambassador coupon the customer must have the status that is ticked in the right-hand column. Thus in the eg shown above the Ambassador coupons will be able to be obtained by Fan Level 3 and Ambassador customers.
  • Two-way coupons
    • Where the column Two-way Reward is ticked then this coupon may be obtained by the levels that are ticked in the right-hand column.
    • Ambassador coupons may be gifted as one-on-one rewards by a qualifying user to anybody (specifically to users that do not have this status)  eligible to receive this coupon for immediate or later use after it is validated and added to the recipients MY ACCOUNT by an in-store Administrator.
    • When a user gifts any two-way coupon, that they are eligible for, that coupon is removed from their account pending redemption by the person to whom it is sent.
    • When the coupon is redeemed the identical coupon with a new number is added to the account of the person that sent it.
    • Each referral redemption is counted and the accumulative balance reflects in the Buyer's Member's Portal in MY ACCOUNT and when the required number are reflected then that user receives Ambassador Status and can redeem qualifying Ambassador coupons. Thus the terms and conditions may require eg 3 successful referrals before the sender qualifies to redeem the same coupon.
  • Shareable Coupons
    • Shareable coupons are made available by the seller to customers to share, in the Customers Loyalty Account, with friends and connections on social media, a messaging option or by email. These coupons are not added to another customer's account if the coupon is sent from one customer to another.
    • Shareable coupons offer customers something to share and discuss with friends and connections.
    • Shareable coupons are not acquired by the customer who, given that these coupons are not fully issued, may
  • Ambassador Status
    Total Issues:
    • Ambassador Status is achieved by the USER emailing two-way coupons that are redeemed.

      • STEP 1.  The sender who has one or more of the qualifying status levels will add a two-way coupon to his/her account by selecting it on the APP – Any customer at any status level may qualify to get an Ambassador coupon if his/her status level is ticked in the far right-hand column.

      • STEP 2. The sender will open this two-way coupon after getting it and select EMAIL IT  - it will then show as redeemed.

      • STEP 3. The recipient will ADD the two-way coupon received to his Account by presenting it to an Admin. When the recipient uses this coupon by redeeming it then the referral is successful and the number of successful referrals will count towards the sender's Ambassador Count status.

      • STEP 4.  The coupon will be added to the receivers account when it is claimed. When the receiver uses it then the sender gets the same coupon with a new number added to his account.  When this two-way coupon was issued it was counted as two coupons for the purpose of the MAX total number of coupons issued and it was counted as one coupon for the personal MAX no of coupons for this user. The receiver will have the coupon number that was sent to him and the sender will get a new coupon with a new number.  If the sender tries to refer this second two-way coupon to another person then that is okay provided that there are two coupons available in the MAX total number of coupons issued even if he will exceed his personal MAX no of coupons for this user. This means that the issue does not need to be checked re the personal max but it must always be checked for the Total MAX  not to be exceeded.

      • Summary:  When a two-way referral is sent to a friend and that person then redeems it by showing it to an admin it is added to the receiver's account.  When the receiver actually uses this coupon then the number of redeems goes up by 1 and the sender gets a copy of this coupon added to his account.

NOTE  the No. Required for Ambassador status to be activated is set in the Seller's Admin and when it is reached the status is activated for the set number of days.

    • The total of all coupons issued is recorded in the Total Issued column.
    • When one is redeemed by anybody then the accumulated total is recorded in the Total Redeemed column.
This panel offers supply restrictions and statistics on the following:
  • MAX of all of this coupon allowed to be issued
  • Actual no. issued
  • Actual no. redeemed
  • MAX  that is allowed to be issued to one user.
Messages:
If someone selects this coupon and there are none available because the max total has been reached or if there is only one left and this coupon is a two-way then the message is:
The maximum number allowed to be issued has been reached.  Unfortunately, this coupon is not available.
OR if the max per user has been reached the message is:
The maximum number allowed to be issued to you has been reached. Unfortunately, this coupon is not available.

Product Variations and Sub-Variations

  • Categories, variations, and sub-variations must be created before they can be loaded on this page or before they can be loaded by way of the spreadsheet upload.
  • Consider products in a store, let us say they are T-shirts. In this case, the category would be T-shirts. The variation would be the size and the sub-variation the colour. There could be a number of products, all of which, would be defined by the same category, variation, and sub-variation. The products could be 250gsm round neck T-shirts, 300gsm T-shirts with collars, and 240gsm V Neck T-shirts. The Variation, Sub-Variation, Quantity, Price, and Product Description all relate to one product.  Given 6 sizes and 6 colours 36 products would be loaded. Selecting the option to "View variations/sub-variations" a page will schedule all 36 where any can be deleted. The variations and sub-variations will show for this product only. Should one of the uploads need to be edited the process would be to delete it and then to reload it.
  • The options to download a blank spreadsheet or to download a spreadsheet that shows the current status; a complete stocklist of all current products in the store are shown above. We suggest that you download the current spreadsheet and then add new products before uploading the new spreadsheet.
  • On the spreadsheet the columns V to K allow the partial specification of products to be displayed on the LPM communicator.
  • If you load a spreadsheet on which products have been deleted from the current status worksheet this will not delete these products; these products will remain. This means that you can upload a partial spreadsheet that only has edits or new products listed without changing the products that are not listed.
  • New products will be created for products listed on a spreadsheet with a new Product Number detailed on the spreadsheet.
  • Please note that not all options can be loaded by spreadsheet upload. Images as an example will still need to be loaded for each "Main Product; one with variations and sub/variations."

Deals & Referrals Communicators (D&RC)

  • Sellers sites have a D&RC on them.
  • Sellers can create a site that has a focus on a location or on a niche topic.
  • Sellers can, if the option is activated,  invite Marketers to Post Deals on their Sites.
  • Sellers do this by selling DEALS in a Store (like this) that get added to the Loyalty Account of the Marketer, where they can access purchased DEAL CREDITS to post DEALS for 30 DAYS.
